About ZIBS

Based in China and with a global focus, Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS) https://zibs.zju.edu.cn/enzibs/ aims to build a science & technology-focused premier global business school from China, by upholding the “5i” philosophy of being “international, interdisciplinary, innovative, inclusive and integrative”, with continued emphases on 3 strategic pillars – Global ZIBS, Digital ZIBS, and the ZIBS Ecosystem.

ZIBS offers five postgraduate programs, namely Master of China Studies (MCS), international Master of Business Administration (iMBA), international Master of Finance (iMF), international Master of Fine Arts (iMFA) and international Master of Data Science (iMDS), one undergraduate program in Global Communication and Management (GCM) for international students, as well as executive education programs.

ZIBS currently has multiple faculty positions open for application and is seeking to attract outstanding talents with international vision to contribute to its global development and education mission. Faculty of ZIBS devote to excellent international business education by playing a leading role in teaching, research as well as social service with academic accomplishments and expertise.

Positions

Based on the development needs of its programs and disciplines, Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor are open for application at ZIBS. Through global recruitment, we strive to build a high-level full-time faculty team with global vision and international education background.

The contract of employment will be held with Zhejiang University. Tenure-track contract is for six years, subject to a satisfactory formal review at the end of year five. It is intended that the post-holder will then move to a standard University academic open-ended contract at the end of year six.

Digital Innovations (Big Data Business Analytics, Fintech, Digital Transformation), Marketing, Accounting, Corporate finance, Operations Management, Leadership and organizational behavior, etc.

Requirements

Full Professor

Well-known scholars, academicians and highly-cited scholars in his/her own areas, with extensive experience in teaching and research as well as the ability to lead the development of disciplines.

Associate Professor

Assistant professor or above in world renowned universities, strong candidates of national young talent programs.

Assistant Professor

Young talents show academic potential and are competitive in the application of national and provincial talent programs (applicants with postdoctoral research experience will be preferred).

Work and Living Conditions

  2. Research support: Start-up fund will be commensurate in line with qualifications, plus strong support for allocation of doctor/master students and postdoctoral recruitment quota. A bilingual campus with international efficient administrative and service structure;
  3. Remuneration and benefits: Annual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and competitive with international norms; Relocation allowance will be available for overseas applicants.
  4. Housing arrangement: Rental of fully furnished apartmentor purchase of an on-campus Hainashire apartment;
  5. Other support: Enrollment of children in preferred local schools; Assist in permanent residence permit application for foreign faculty; Fine medical services provided by the two branch sections of the affiliated hospitals of ZJU in the neighborhood, etc.
