Founded in 2010, CeNSE is India’s premier research hub in nanoscience and engineering, home to a world-class nanofabrication cleanroom and advanced characterization facilities that are unmatched across the region. Our interdisciplinary faculty work at the frontiers of materials, devices, and systems with applications spanning electronics, photonics, energy, healthcare, and quantum technologies.

We invite applications from candidates with excellent academic and research records, and at least 3 years of post-PhD research experience, in the following areas:

  • Advanced CMOS Devices (memory, RF)
  • Photonics & Lasers (on-chip sources/detectors, mid-IR, active and topological photonics)
  • Quantum Technologies (devices for computing/sensing)
  • Biomedical Devices (multimodal sensing, imaging)
  • Integrated Microsystems (heterogeneous integration, multimodal sensing, 3D packaging)
  • Alternative Computing (neuromorphic, chaos-based approaches)
